DECADES OF THE 20TH CENTURY (KÖNEMANN)
Series Note: The full title of this series was "Decades of the 20th Century / Dekaden des 20. Jahrhunderts / Decennies du XXe siecle". It is commonly referred to using its short title: "Decades of the 20th Century".
Each volume in the series comprises historical photos of typical scenes from its decade. The photos are arranged by themes (e.g. Sport; Fashion). Many of the photos come from the Hulton Getty Picture Collection.
The photos are accompanied by captions and descriptive text in three languages: in English, German and French.
The series was originally pubished in 1998 by Konemann Verlagsgesellschaft mbH, Bonner Strasse, 126, D-50968, Koln [Cologne], Germany.
It was "[p]roduced by The Hulton Getty Picture Collection Limited, Unique House, 21-31 Woodfield Road, London W9 2BA.", U.K. and was "printed and bound by Sing Cheong Printing Co. Ltd., Hong Kong, China".
