Series Note: This American series of cloth-bound hardback books for boys aged 12 to 15 years was published during the First World War. A publisher's advertisement in The Boy Allies in the Baltic describes the series as follows: "In this series we follow the fortunes of two American lads unable to leave Europe after war is declared. They meet the soldiers of the Allies, and decide to cast their lot with them. Their experiences and escapes are many, and furnish plenty or good, healthy action that every Boy loves."
