AMAR CHITRA KATHA (INDIA BOOK HOUSE)
Series Note:
Amar Chitra Katha (which translates into English as "Immortal Picture Stories") is a "visual representation" through colour comics of "Indian stories from the great epic, mythology, history, literature, oral folktales and many other sources" (source: Wikipedia).

Amar Chitra Katha is a cultural phenomenon in India and copies are to be found in most households. Titles are currently available in over 20 languages and the series has sold over 100 million copies.

Amar Chitra Katha was launched by India Book House of Bombay (Mumbai) and published by them until 2007 when ACK Media took over the publishing of the series.
